As for my thoughts? I have never used a burger press before, but I found it surprisingly easy!  You just make the mixture the way you want it, then press it in the contraption, and voila!  It has a little lifter which makes it easy to pop the patty out and make the next one.  It is made of plastic and has nonslip feet to keep it from moving around when you are working.  It is dishwasher safe, so cleanup is easy! It's not just for burgers either!  You can make chiken patties, veggie burgers, salmon patties, crab cakes...  all kinds of patty shaped goodness!
