As for my thoughts? This product is great.  It is a simple design that is made to last.  It was easy to install in my car and now I can keep my son entertained while playing movies on my phone or mini tablet.  It holds them securely.  I also love that I can plug it in while it is displayed so it doesn't lose its charge.
