As for my thoughts? I made this delicious and SO EASY slow cooker recipe with this Dal.  Delicious, healthy, and perfect for cold winter nights when you don't want to cook!  Also a great source of vegetarian protein!

A hearty, comforting slow cooked dal made from red lentils, split yellow peas, and Indian spices.
Serves: 10-12
Ingredients
3 cups red lentils, yellow split peas, or split mung beans (or a combination)
6 cups water
One 28 ounce diced tomatoes
1 large onion, diced
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 Tablespoons fresh grated ginger
1 Tablespoon turmeric
3 green cardamom pods
1 bay leaf
2 teaspoons each: cumin seeds, mustard seeds, onion seeds, fenugreek seeds
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1 teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
For serving:
Hot cooked brown rice
cilantro, optional
extra onion and cumin seeds, optional
fresh lemon juice, optional

Instructions
Place red lentils and yellow split peas into a large bowl and cover with water. Let soak for a few minutes and swish to wash the lentils and split peas. Drain well and rinse. Place in a slow cooker and add the 6 cups water. Add the diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, ginger, turmeric, cardamom pods, bay leaf, salt and black pepper.
Heat a small skillet over medium heat. Add all of the seeds to the pan. Shake the pan while on the heat, or use a wooden spoon to stir, while toasting the seeds. When they smell fragrant, remove from heat and transfer to the slow cooker. (It will probably bubble up a bit as the hot seed hit the liquid.) Stir well to combine all ingredients. Place lid on slow cooker and let cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 8-10 hours.
Remove lid after cooking time and stir. Taste and if lentils are not soft, cook for another 30-60 minutes, if needed. Add more salt and pepper, if needed.
To serve - Ladle the daal over brown rice and top with a squeeze of fresh lemon, cilantro, and more seeds, if desired.

This eye cream works great for puffiness from lack of sleep.  It is a white cream with a subtle fresh scent.  It is cooling on the skin and refreshing.  It comes in a small bottle with a pump for easy application.  A little goes a long way. As for my thoughts? This provides fantastic moisture to all part of your body.  The pump top is great and makes it easy to use.  The smell is earthy and the coloring of the oil is yellowish, but does not stain my very fair skin.  I store mine in the refrigerator and after doing the dishes at night I pump some onto my hands and rub my elbows, then run my fingers through my hair.  By doing this for a couple of weeks I could see a real difference in my cuticles, hands and hair!  My hair is always a bit frizzy but this definitely lessened that and made my tresses nice and shiny.  I had never heard of rosehip seed oil before, but I am very glad I did!  I will continue to use this product for sure.

I used this product for 3 weeks and lost 5 pounds, which is okay but not as much as i hoped to lose.  Get ready to drink a LOT of water if you want so see the effectiveness.  I have a lot of energy which was helpful for kicking off my weight loss.  I am not a big fan of the cleanse personally... lots of tummy pain and time spent in the bathroom.  I wont continue using this personally.

As for my thoughts? This was a really fun thing to discover!  I have been trying to cut down some of the carbohydrates in my family's diet and introduce more veggies for my son, and this tool helps with both of those things!  We LOVE pasta, and making zucchini noodles to bulk up our spaghetti dinner this week went unnoticed by the little ones.  The blades are nice and sharp and the tool was easy and quick to use.  I look forward to trying more recipes with this little wonder!  I love kitchen gadgets, and this one is a keeper.

As for my thoughts? The bottle came with a convenient dropper which made application easy.  The serum had a mild odor to it that I did not really like very much, but it was tolerable.  The solution was a milky color and thin, easy to apply.  I have not seen a difference as of yet in my skin but have not been using it long enough to expect one.

As for my thoughts? I was pleased! I have sensitive skin and the product did not irritate it.  It smelled like oranges which was very pleasant.  I have fair skin with a lot of redness and after three weeks of use I feel like the redness is somewhat lessened.  I will continue use and I would recommend!

As for my thoughts? I was pleased! The cream was not greasy and had a light, pleasant smell. It did not dry out my skin.
