As for my thoughts? This is a great product and it does exactly what it is supposed to do.  It clips easily to my car vent and stays put.  I don't have to worry about it sliding around or coming lose.  I love that it is adjustable.  It can hold my phone, ipod, or GPS with ease.  The price is so affordable too!  It is something that almost anyone can use and would make a great gift.
