As for my thoughts? These molds are really cool.  They are easy to use and make a great big ball of ice that will melt slowly so you don't water down your drink.  You just fill with water to the line, snap on the lid, and stick in your freezer...then presto... a few hours later you have a big ice ball.   You can use fruit juices as well that compliment your drink for a cool presentation.
